We live in digital time. Our rhythms are rushed, rapid fire and relentless. We race through our lives without pausing to consider who we really want to be or where we really want to go. Demand is overwhelming our capacity. We're wired up, but we're melting down. We've lost touch with the natural rhythms of energy expenditure and recovery, and we often fail to draw fully on each of our key sources of energy – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Enter Tony Schwartz.

A best-selling author and a nationally recognized authority on performance, change and growth, Tony is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations more skillfully manage energy to maximize performance.

His most recent book, co-authored with Jim Loehr, is The Power of Full Engagement, which has been a #1 bestseller, spent four months on the NY Times bestseller list and has been translated into 20 languages. The book, like Tony's speaking engagements, examines the paradigm shift from time management to energy management, and how this will change the way corporations educate their employees in the future. He is also co-author with Jim Loehr, Ed.D., of the Harvard Business Review article 'The Making of a Corporate Athlete' (January 2001).

Tony began his career as an award-winning journalist. He was a reporter for The New York Times, an Associate Editor at Newsweek, a staff writer for New York and Esquire magazines and a columnist for Fast Company.

Tony has given keynotes, workshops, coaching and extended training to senior executives at a wide range of companies, including AT&T, Salomon Smith Barney, the Estee Lauder Companies, McDonalds, Credit Suisse First Boston, Gillette, Wachovia Bank, Sara Lee, Forrester Research and JPMorgan Chase. He has also spoken at the National Security Agency, Harvard Business School, Columbia University Business School, Brown University Medical School, the Urban Land Institute, and many others.

A frequent guest on radio and television, Tony has appeared on Oprah, Good Morning America, Charlie Rose, National Public Radio, Fox TV and Bloomberg TV. Tony's other books include the No. 1 worldwide bestseller The Art of the Deal with Donald Trump, Work in Progress with Michael Eisner, and What Really Matters: Searching for Wisdom in America.
